Affiliations

As a Baptist church we are governed ultimately by our members under the leadership of its pastor(s), rather than by any outside group. Yet Baptists have always voluntarily cooperated with one another for mutual encouragement and for the fulfilling of the Great Commission. We believe that we can do far more in cooperation than we can do alone, and so we are affiliated with and support the following groups:

Nationally, we belong to the Southern Baptist Convention and support over 4,500 missionaries around the world through the International Mission Board.

On a state-wide level, we are part of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, and support church planting in our state.

Locally, we are part of the Flat River Baptist Association and support local evangelism and ministry.
